Portraits for Channel 5’s Inside the Tower of London

12 January 2022 0 Comments

A few months ago I was commissioned to take portraits of people who work at the Tower of London for Channel 5. Subjects included AJ Clark, the first woman in a decade – and only the second in history – to be made a Beefeater.

Portrait of beefeater AJ Clark. She is smiling with her hands behind her back within a Tower of London courtyard, and is wearing typical navy beefeater clothing. To her left stands a traditional royal guard.
Portrait of Dr Misha Ewen, Curator of Inclusive History of Historic Royal Palaces, standing in front of the Tower of London.
Beefeater Terry Briggs stands in front of a door labelled "Queen's Door" at the Tower of London. He is smiling with his hands held in front of him.
Bridget Clifford, keeper of Tower Armouries at the Tower of London, photographed leaning on a table. She is pictured smiling and standing in a room full of books in glass cabinets, with a military uniform placed on the table she leans against.
